PowerCLI: Oneliners

This page could be dedicated to Hugo Peeters as he's been supplying the community with very useful powershell oneliners for a while. But he's not the only supplier anymore as more links are getting added from other great powershell scripters.

Statistics

• Statistics: Average CPU and memory usage

• Statistics: Number of CPUs, amount of memory assigned, Average CPU and memory usage

• Memory Usage statistics sorted per VM

• Statistics: Top 20 VM with least free disk space

• Get a list of vm's and the number of snapshots per vm

• Number of VM's per Resource Pool

• How many VM's per Host

Events

• Get all events per VM

• Get all errors from the past 24 hours

• Get all errors related to a cluster

• Get all events related to DRS

• Hosts whose CPU reached red Load level

• Inform when running task completes

Configuration

• Oneliner: Service Console IP with PowerCLI

• Reset CPU and Memory limits to “Unlimited” for all VMs in vCenter

Storage
